Here at Larson Home Center we are a part of your install process. We help setup all the appointments that come with purchasing a home. It can feel overwhelming, but rest assured. We have a wonderful crew of licensed contractors who get things done right! The time of installation on average is about 3-8 weeks from start to finish. Feel free to visit anytime. Larson Homes Shipping Process

We use multiple licensed shippers to deliver our homes. Pricing of shipping is usually worked into the purchase price. Pricing includes permitting, pilots cars, and preparing the trucks and homes. Shippers are responsible for delivering your home safely. Sometimes this results in delays due to weather and construction. We aim to deliver our homes in 1-4 weeks from finish date. Some customers will need a crawler or skid-steer to place the home at the desired location. This can be done for additional fees. This is something decided when a contractor or shipper does their site visit.

Larson Homes Site Prep

In order for the home to be delivered and set at its final destination, the location must be accessible and prepared. This includes making sure the driveway is accessible for the size and weight of the home. Also that there is a level and solid rock pad or cement foundation poured. All utilities needed for the home are up to date and available to access for home hook-up. We have licensed plumbers, electricians, septic design and installers, and excavators to make sure these jobs are done right to receive the home. We prep your building site for you so your home can be safely and securely set on it’s foundation.

Larson Homes Set Up

All of the homes need to be placed on a foundation. The earth will be prepared to receive the home in the site prep stage. We block up all the homes, this can be done at certain heights and can include hurricane ties. A slab foundation can be poured for any size home, but is not always necessary. A slab is recommended for larger single wides, and all double wides. During this process your home will be set up, tied together (if a double wide), connected to utilities, skirted, steps and decks built, and any interior trim out for double wides. The park model setup is fairly quick usually done in 2-4 weeks. Double wides usually are closer to 3-6 weeks. Larson Homes sets your Home on it’s foundation so you can be sure that your home is firmly secure and solid.

Larson Homes Welcomes You Home

A new 2024 service offered to our customers is what we like to call our “Welcome Home Package.” When you receive your home from the builders, the home will be tied up from shipment and will need a good cleaning. We will send our contractors and employees to go through a quality check list. They will unpack, clean and repair the home. This process will also include any needs for the appliances that came with the home installation (propane plumber not included in these fees), lighting installation that came with the home, closet doors hung, and drywall repair. Depending on items needed for repairs, this process can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks. At this time the customer will be able to hire our contractors for any additional projects wanted for the home. Larson Homes Warranty

Our homes come with a manufactured home warranty. Depending on the home you choose this number will differ. The appliances all come with a 1 year manufacture warranty with the appliance brand. Larson Tiny Homes offers a 60 day drywall warranty. Through travel and setup the home will need drywall repairs. We recommend waiting a few weeks after home is set before these repairs are done. This warranty can be done by our experienced local drywallers or given preapproved compensation.
